Well, I was right. My nephew, little Sesimani (though I may still call him Lucius, my first choice [named after Lucius Verus, co-emporer of Rome with Marcus Aurelius]) was born on May 12, 2007 at 4:56am (he's an early bird, apparently). He was 7lbs, 8oz, and 19.5 inches long. Here's some pictures of the little tyke.
Ironically, today's Mother's Day, so my sister made it just in time.
God Bless all the mothers in the world, and all they do for our sake. :)

Wonder who the father is...
Lucius Veras isn't a moniker I'd give a person. Sure, he had great hair, and apparently a liver of steel, but partying and drinking aren't to be encouraged are they?
The father's name is also Sesimani...and I'm not even going to try to spell his last name from memory (that's why I chose not to include it in the first place).
P.S. I just said the name "Lucius" would be used. Second, Lucius Verus was also a competent leader with a cheerful disposition that transfered to his troops. Some exceptions must be made.
He's so cute!!! I love that new baby smell how cute some of them are..eh..babies aren't that wonderful...So I shan't be wanting one soon..
But congratulations. So have you decided what sort of uncle you're going to be yet?
New baby smell? If it's anything like new car smell, I wanna baby too!
Sesimani, I kinda like the name.
lol, congrats. Good thing I'm not the name-decider...(Ahem, I would name em Hugo or Fidel, after my favorite dictators.)
